The SSAT GI Surgery Winter Course is geared towards the practicing general surgeon and will focus on both common and controversial topics in GI surgery, from esophagus to anus. This highly interactive course will be taught by internationally recognized digestive experts in the field and is designated for 9.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Surgeons who attend this course will learn:
1. Best practices and newer approaches to procedural therapy of GERD and achalasia;
2. The nuts and bolts of “enhanced recovery” pathways; and
3. “Hot button” topics of colorectal surgery, such as the management of diverticulitis, C. difficile colitis, and obstructing cancer.
